Week 9 EOC: Letter of Permission

I chose, Music, Artwork, Photograph and Trademark letters of permission because I'm in the photography field and in my career I might have to use art to demonstrate my ideas as well as the photos I may take, or have to use a Trademark logo if I work with a specific company. In presentations I may need to incorporate music and other artists work while presenting my own work.
These are important to know so if in the future I need to send a letter to someone regarding these specific items I'll have a heads up on how to write them and what information I should include.

Week 8 EOC: Bratz brawl

"The Bratz dolls are all about fashion and so are the majority of kids nowadays thanks to the media and society. Yes, Barbie was in fashion as well but not as much."

There are all kinds of controversy about the Bratz dolls. Whether or not they're appropriate for young girls and if they give the right image. There's also the other issue about if Barbie gives a good image and how Bratz makes Barbie look bad. Some people will say that Bratz are over rated and that Barbie has been an icon for years. Others will say that Barbie has a negative impact on girls and gives them fake expectations and Bratz gives girls something to look forward to. One of the most important issues is whether or not the man who created the Bratz doll was working for Mattel and if under his contract Bratz belong to Mattel. The courts sided with Mattel in saying that since he was working for them when the idea came to him and he first made the doll the Bratz doll belongs to Mattel. Now the issue still remains whether or not the doll is a good influence on young girls of not. The Bratz dolls remind girls more of teenagers. Even though they’re trendy and young looking they still have careers and stories like a mature woman while still looking like a teenager, unlike Barbie who is more responsible looking and has more sophisticated looks that makes her appear older anyway. She still has a young side to her but the professional look and persona of Barbie is that she’s more in her 20’s or 30’s.
